We are a family-based business operating from our business park in Wisbech, with over 40 years of experience within the construction, planned maintenance, domestic mechanical and electrical services, renewable, and property development sectors.
Three businesses make up The Foster Property and Building Group Limited all with their very own area of expertise:
Foster Building Services Limited provides general building, civil engineering, planned works for voids, kitchen and bathroom refurbishments, and disabled adaptations. Standalone construction projects – both new build and full refurbishments – are increasing our presence across the Eastern region.
In addition, we offer renewable technologies in the form of Solar PV, Mechanical Ventilation and Heat Recovery (MVHR) and Air Source Heat Pumps (ASHP), together with traditional domestic mechanical and electrical services.
Foster Property Developments Limited Foster Property Developments Limited for over 20 years has specialised in land acquisition, commercial, industrial, residential new builds, and developments, with a view to bringing this through the planning process for resale or retention to build out. We also manage a portfolio of commercial and industrial buildings available for rent.
Ashlar Developments Limited was founded in 2018 and specialises in bespoke open market, new builds and barn conversions in Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Essex, Hertfordshire, Huntingdonshire, Lincolnshire, Norfolk, Northamptonshire and Suffolk.

Steve is the Managing Director for the group with over 30 years’ experience within the construction industry.
Oliver Salter-Boyden
Oliver is the Operation Manager responsible for the delivery of projects for Foster Building Services Limited.
Andy Walker
Andy is the Commercial Manager and is responsible for all financial matters relating to Foster Building Services Limited
Martin Rayner
Martin is the Construction Director and oversees both the Foster Building Services and Property Development operations.
Giles Davies
Giles is the Technical Manager for Foster Building Services. He also oversees Estimating and Procurement for the business.
